Hi, it is a known fault with Jaguar XF 2.2 2012 and they have actually released a technical bulletin for this specific problem back in 2015. I didn’t know it until my fuse box and main wire loom caught fire back in January 2018. Still couldn’t fix it as Jaguar quoted £ 4000 to repair it.
